Qualifications

  • Experience writing and implementing laboratory procedures, ideally in a regulated or commercial lab setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities from different team members.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

Job description

Ready to explore, break barriers, and discover more? We are looking for a Lab Coordinator to support lab operations at HUB Organoids and help our teams innovate in science and technology.

You’ll be the backbone of our lab operations at HUB Organoids, keeping everything running smoothly and safely. In this hands‑on position, you’ll manage equipment maintenance and calibration, oversee reagent and inventory systems, and develop standardized lab procedures that keep our team efficient. You’ll be the go‑to person for troubleshooting equipment issues and training colleagues on new tools. Your responsibilities span lab safety compliance, purchasing optimization, and facility organization—ensuring our labs stay clean, organized, and compliant. You’ll also pitch in during busy periods to support reagent preparation and daily ordering. This is a role where you’ll directly impact how well our labs operate and grow as the organization scales. Based on‑site at the facility, you’ll work closely with scientists and management across all organizational levels, with opportunities to drive continuous improvement in lab workflows.

Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree (HBO level) or equivalent in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in a biomedical or research laboratory environment with solid knowledge of lab safety standards and practices.
  • Proven experience writing and implementing laboratory procedures, ideally in a regulated, certified, or commercial lab setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities from different team members without losing focus.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively; you communicate clearly and are approachable to colleagues at all levels.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
