The Usual Rotterdam is seeking a Kitchen Steward to support daily food service from the pantry, keeping displays appealing and contributing to guest experiences. You will work fulltime on 38 hours weekly with weekends, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency in a dynamic F&B environment.

You will be responsible for pantry upkeep, mise en place, stock management, and ensuring HACCP compliance, while delivering high-quality service and a warm hospitality mindset.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years relevant work experience or passion for food.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages welcome.
• Fulltime availability with weekends; flexible AM/PM shifts.
• Must have a heart for sustainability and be legally allowed to work in the Netherlands.

Responsabilités

• Co-responsible for serving food daily from pantry and displays.
• Keep pantry and culinary zone neat, clean and organized.
• Ensure cookware and dining ware are cleaned for smooth service.
• Maintain stocked food items and support HACCP checks.
• Support guest satisfaction by presenting dishes attractively.
