Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Leiden zoekt een enthousiaste Kitchen Steward voor 24 uur per week in een parttime dienstverband. Je zorgt voor de schoonmaak en verzorging van vaat en keukengerei en werkt vroeg en/of laat mee in de keuken en stewarding-ruimte, met nauwe samenwerking met Kitchen en Food & Beverage.

Je bent betrouwbaar, nauwkeurig en flexibel, en hebt bij voorkeur (maar geen vereiste) ervaring in een keuken of stewarding-rol.

Qualifications

• U bent een betrouwbare teamspeler met een positieve instelling
• Punctual en hebt oog voor detail
• Geniet van werken in een schone, georganiseerde omgeving
• Flexibel en beschikbaar voor verschillende shifts,ook in het weekend en tijdens feestdagen
• Basiskennis van Nederlands en/of Engels

Responsibilities

• Samen met het team zorgen voor een uitstekende gastbeleving
• Afwassen en correct opbergen van vaat, keukengerei en apparatuur
• Zorgdragen voor een schone, veilige en ordelijke stewardingruimte
• Polijsten en sorteren van bestek, glaswerk en servies
• Veilig en verantwoord omgaan met schoonmaakmaterialen en -apparatuur
• Volgen van hygiëne-, voedselveiligheids- en arbo-voorschriften
• Ondersteunen van de Kitchen en F&B-teams waar nodig

Are you hardworking, detail-oriented and proud of creating a clean and organised workplace? Then you could be the Kitchen Steward we are looking for at Hilton Garden Inn Leiden. We are looking for a part-time Steward for 24 hours a week!

As a Kitchen Steward, you ensure that all dishes, kitchen utensils and equipment used by our Food & Beverage operation are cleaned thoroughly and ready for use. You work early and/or late shifts in the kitchen and stewarding area and collaborate closely with the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams.

What will you be doing?

• Working with the team to create an excellent guest experience
• Cleaning and correctly storing dishes, kitchen utensils and equipment
• Keeping the stewarding area clean, safe and organised
• Polishing and sorting cutlery, glassware and crockery
• Using cleaning materials and equipment safely and responsibly
• Following hygiene, food safety and health and safety standards
• Supporting the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams whenever needed

Who are we looking for?

• You are a reliable team player with a positive attitude
• You are punctual and have a keen eye for detail
• You enjoy working in a clean, organised environment
• You are flexible and available for different shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• You have a basic command of Dutch and/or English
• Previous experience in a kitchen or stewarding role is welcome, but not essential
