Job summary

Pestana Amsterdam Riverside is seeking enthusiastic kitchen staff for a full-time role. Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and contributing to team efforts. Candidates should be able to multitask, work under pressure, and have HACCP knowledge. A dynamic work environment and international growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar position.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Experience using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
• Love working in a team and also able to work independently.
• Familiarity with HACCP and following sanitation procedures.
• English language proficiency; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mise-en-place and ingredient preparation.
• Support in preparing simple dishes and garnishes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
• Manage stock rotation and deliveries.
• Assist with plating and clearing workstations during service.
• Contribute to effective teamwork within the kitchen.
