Job summary

Boskalis in Papendrecht is seeking a Junior Surveyor to start your career in surveying. You will work with experienced professionals to collect, process and analyze hydrographic, geodetic and positioning data for maritime and infrastructure projects worldwide.

This entry-level role offers structured training, mentoring, hands-on project exposure, and opportunities to grow into specialist or leadership positions within our Dredging & Inland Infra and Offshore Energy divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hydrography, Geodesy, Maritime Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
• Good command of English, written and spoken, and willingness to travel.

Your responsibilitiesas Surveyor

• Operate survey systems and support the execution of hydrographic, geodetic, and positioning surveys.Perform basic calibrations and system verifications.
• Process and validate survey data.
• Support the preparation of project deliverables and reports.
• Troubleshoot and maintain survey equipment.

Your qualities and experience
You can move ahead as a surveyor if you have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hydrography, Geodesy, Maritime Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Willingness to travel and work at project locations when required.
• A good command of English, both written and spoken.
• EU nationality or eligibility to work within the European Union.

Additionally:

• You’rewilling to travel (within Europe,MiddleEast,FarEast) on afairly regularbasis.
• You’re willing to work on rotation schedule: 1:1for offshore and 6:4 forland basedprojects.
  Your country or offshore allowances will also be paid during rotational leave periods.
