Cleopatra is seeking a Junior Software Engineer in the Netherlands to join our development team. You will contribute to development of software used by global clients and work within agile scrum teams to deliver features.

Ideal candidates hold a BSc or MSc in Computer Science, have 0-3 years of software experience, enjoy Java, and are passionate about building robust software with a collaborative mindset.

Being a member of the developer team at the company means you have a vital position in the company. Working in small scrum teams of four to eight people, you be working on a feature set clearly outlined by our product owner and business analysts. Everything you develop will be used by internal staff and external clients from all over the world.

During your daily work, you’ll face complex puzzles and dilemmas. As you are continuously involved with the development of the product, you can really start deep diving into everything and finally fix that bug that has been there for so long. Since you are a fresh graduate, code reviews are key in learning quickly. All code is reviewed by at least one developer and tested by QA specialists.
