Job summary

KoRo in the Netherlands is hiring a Junior Social Media & Community Manager to create engaging short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok, tailoring humor to Dutch culture.

You’ll build a community, interact with followers, and run street interviews, tastings, and local events, while developing partnerships with local brands and venues. This hybrid role offers a structured onboarding, a growth budget, a MacBook, and KoRo perks.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, community management, or events
• Strong expertise in short-form video creation (Reels and TikTok) along with practical experience using tools like CapCut and Canva
• High comfort level approaching people in public, conducting street interviews, and representing the brand on camera
• Proactive, creative, and structured working style combined with a genuine passion for food trends and Dutch culture
• Fluent in Dutch with excellent written and spoken English skills
• Ideally based in or near Amsterdam – you’re happy working primarily from home, but equally excited to step out for live events, sampling activations, and street interviews

Responsibilities

• Short-Form Content Creation: You create, edit, and publish engaging short-form video content for Instagram and TikTok, adapting trends to Dutch culture and humor.
• On-Camera Presence: You serve as the face of KoRo in front of the camera for street interviews, tastings, challenges, and public-facing video formats.
• Community Engagement: You actively interact with the Dutch community via comments, DMs, polls, and stories to build brand loyalty and turn followers into fans.
• Local Partnerships: You identify, build, and maintain relationships with local brands, creators, venues, and influencers to expand brand visibility.
• Events & Activations: You help plan and execute pop-ups, sampling initiatives, and local events while capturing compelling real-time content on site.
