Job summary

Maastricht University invites applications for a Junior Researcher in Integrated Care and Osteoarthritis within the EUcare4OA project. You will join the multidisciplinary Beweeghuis Maastricht-Heuvelland team at the interface of Orthopedic Surgery and Beweeghuis to advance integrated care pathways across Europe.

The role focuses on research activities, data collection and analysis, literature reviews and stakeholder engagement, collaborating with partners in the Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and/or PhD in Health Sciences, Human Movement Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, Physiotherapy, Biomedical Sciences, Healthcare Policy or a related field.
• Affinity for healthcare research and innovation with interest in integrated care, implementation science and community-based healthcare.
• Experience with literature reviews, evidence synthesis and quantitative and/or qualitative research methods; data analysis software is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Excellent communication in Dutch (C1) and English; able to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to research activities across multiple EUcare4OA work packages.
• Support comparative analyses of osteoarthritis care models in participating countries.
• Collect, manage and analyse quantitative and qualitative data.
• Conduct literature reviews and contribute to evidence synthesis.
• Support stakeholder interviews, focus groups and co-creation workshops.
