Job summary

Maastricht University invites applications for a Junior Researcher in Integrated Care and Osteoarthritis within the EUcare4OA project. You will contribute to developing and evaluating new OA care approaches across Europe, bridging research with clinical and community-based care.

You will join Beweeghuis Maastricht-Heuvelland within the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at MUMC+. Collaboration with surgeons, physiotherapists, researchers, and international partners is central.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in a health-related field.
• Interest in integrated care and implementation science.
• Experience with literature reviews and data analysis.
• Excellent Dutch (C1) and English communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support comparative analyses of OA care models across countries.
• Collect, manage and analyse quantitative and qualitative data.
• Conduct literature reviews and contribute to evidence synthesis.
• Support stakeholder interviews, focus groups and co-creation workshops.
• Contribute to development and evaluation of integrated OA care pathways.
• Assist with pilot implementation and data collection within regional networks.
• Contribute to project reports, publications, and dissemination.
• Collaborate with international project partners.
