Snack Connection in Giessen zoekt een Junior Production Operator voor een 3-ploegendienst. Je voert bediening en monitoring uit van verpakkingsmachines, controleert kwaliteit en verricht basisonderhoud. Samen met een vriendelijke, gemotiveerde ploeg zorg je voor een soepel productieproces.

De functie vereist VMBO-niveau en 0–1 jaar ervaring. Engels is vereist; Nederlands is een plus. Werktijden zijn 3‑ploegsysteem met incidenteel weekendwerk en een salaris van €17,32–€18,55 per uur, afhankelijk

Qualifications

• Vmbo-werk- en denkniveau vereist.
• 0–1 jaar ervaring in productie/voedingsindustrie of als operator.
• Engels spreken; Nederlands is een voordeel.
• In staat om verpakkingsmachines te bedienen, monitoren en storingen op te lossen.
• Nauwkeurig werken volgens hygiëne- en veiligheidsprocedures.
• Bereidheid tot werken in een 3-ploegendienst en incidenteel weekend.
• Maximale reistijd van 20 km.

Responsibilities

• Bedienen en monitoren van verpakkingsmachines.
• Uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles op producten.
• Storingen oplossen aan kleine machineproblemen.

Over de functie

As a Junior Production Operator / 3 shifts at Snack Connection in Giessen, you'll be hands-on in our modern food production facility. Your main responsibility will be operating and monitoring packaging machines to ensure our nut-based snacks meet top quality standards. Each day, you'll help maintain a smooth-running production line, carry out quality checks, and perform basic equipment maintenance. If you spot an issue, you'll jump in to troubleshoot and keep things moving. You'll work closely with a supportive team who values accuracy and efficiency. Expect to:

• Operate and monitor packaging machines efficiently


• Carry out regular quality checks on products


• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues


• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of your work station


• Keep accurate records of production output


• Follow hygiene and safety procedures at all times
  Your workweek runs from Monday to Friday in a 3-shift system: morning (6:00 - 14:45), afternoon (14:00 - 22:45), and night (22:00 - 6:45). Occasionally, you may be asked to work weekends, with extra pay for those shifts.

• 0 to 1 year of experience in production, food industry, or as an operator


• English speaking skills; Dutch speaking skills are an advantage
