Job summary

Demcon is seeking a Junior Mechatronics Engineer to contribute to high-tech projects, often in micrometer precision, across multidisciplinary teams. You’ll analyze specifications, develop concepts, and integrate subsystems with mechanics, electronics and software to produce prototypes.

You hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field and have an affinity for sensors, actuators and control engineering, with teamwork mindset and programming skills (MATLAB/Python) as a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science.
• Affinity with sensors, actuators and control engineering.
• Proactive attitude and experience working in teams.
• Knowledge of programming (e.g., MATLAB or Python) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze specifications and contribute to concept design through calculations, analyses, and tests.
• Develop concepts from blank sheet to working prototype with multidisciplinary team.
• Set up the control system and select sensors/actuators; coordinate with mechanics, electronics and software.
• Create detailed designs, documentation, and participate in realization and verification.
