Job summary

Fullwood is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer in the Netherlands to apply engineering fundamentals to the design and development of milking and farm technology products, under the guidance of a Teamlead Mechanical Engineering. translate challenges into concrete mechanical solutions and collaborate across departments to reach a working prototype.

You’ll learn on defined assignments, grow toward independent design work, and develop quickly with experienced colleagues in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s (HBO) in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of mechanical design and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with CAD tools such as Inventor or SolidWorks and PDM software.
• Good written and spoken English, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical solutions from concept to prototype.
• Create 3D models and visualisations with material selection and calculations.
• Conduct material and process investigations and apply engineering judgement.
• Prototype, test, and evaluate manufacturability and production risk.
• Prepare technical documentation and report results to the team.
