Job summary

STX zoekt een proactieve Working Student die ons KYC- en CDD-proces in Amsterdam ondersteunt. Je assisteert bij onboarding en review van tegenpartijen, voert KYC-onderzoek uit en werkt nauw samen met Trading, Legal, Trade Operations en andere interne afdelingen om naleving en soepele bedrijfsvoering te waarborgen.

Je studie in een relevante richting loopt, Engels is vereist en een extra Europese taal is een plus.

Qualifications

• Student (Bachelor or Master) in progress; interesse in compliance en financiële markten.
• Zeer nette en georganiseerde houding, goede communicatie.
• Engels vloeiend; eventuele extra taal is een plus.

Responsibilities

• Ondersteunen van KYC-proces voor nieuwe en bestaande cliënten.
• Basish onderzoek doen naar klanten en tegenpartijen.
• Administratieve ondersteuning bieden aan het Compliance-team.
• Uitvoeren van due diligence controles en verzamelen van documenten.
• Bijhouden van relevante regelgeving rondom KYC en ondersteuning bij naleving.

TEAM AND ROLE:

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Working Student to support our KYC (Know Your Customer) and CDD (Customer Due Diligence) processes in Amsterdam. In this role, you will assist the In this role, you will support the onboarding and review of counterparties, conduct KYC and legal structure research, and collaborate closely with Trading, Legal, Trade Operations, and other internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth business operations. As part of a collaborative international team, you will contribute to ongoing automation and process improvement projects, gain exposure to complex corporate structures, and play an active role in supporting STX's growing global business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the KYC process for new and existing clients.
• Conduct basic research on clients and counterparties.
• Provide administrative and organisational support to the Compliance team.
• Help perform due diligence checks and collect relevant documentation.
• Assist in monitoring regulatory developments relevant to KYC and assist with related compliance actions.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree (mandatory), preferably in Law, Business Law, Criminology, or related fields.
• Interest in compliance, regulations, and financial markets.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with good communication skills.
• Proficient in English; another European language is an advantage.
• Available to work 24 hours from November and already living in the Netherlands.
