Qualifications

• Recently completed (or finishing) a degree in CS, IT, Software Engineering or related field
• Foundation in Java or another OOP language
• Solid grasp of OOP, collections, exception handling, data structures
• Basic understanding of APIs and web apps
• Familiarity with Git
• Genuine curiosity about cloud tech and modern engineering practices
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to ask questions

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance apps in Java & Spring Boot
• Design, build and consume REST APIs
• Write unit tests and support automated testing
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Azure deployments
• Debug, investigate and help resolve production issues
• Join code reviews, Agile ceremonies & team discussions
• Work closely with devs, testers, analysts & cloud specialists
• Pick up Trade Finance domain knowledge along the way
