Helpware Inc in Amsterdam is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. You will contribute to backend and frontend work, with emphasis on Java, Spring Boot and React.js in a hybrid Amsterdam setting.

You will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality software, learn rapidly, take ownership over tasks, and grow within a professional engineering environment.

Formación

• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in software development.
• Commercial development experience with Java.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience with React.js and frontend development.
• Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
• Understanding of SOLID, DRY and common design patterns.
• Knowledge of software testing principles and practices.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and reusable code.
• Basic understanding of application architecture and system design.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain high-quality applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain frontend functionality using React.js.
• Write clean, readable, reusable and maintainable code.
• Apply appropriate design patterns and development best practices.
• Follow principles such as SOLID and DRY.
• Write unit and integration tests and contribute to overall application quality.
• Refactor and improve existing code when needed.
• Follow security, data integrity and coding standards.
