Job summary

Datenna, a fast-growing tech scale-up in the OSINT and AI space, is looking for a Junior IT Security Engineer to own day-to-day IT and security operations, onboarding, offboarding, and security scanning.

You will automate repetitive tasks, work with the CISO and colleagues, and help maintain ISO 27001 and GDPR controls while staying ahead of threats. Recent graduates welcome; strong scripting and curiosity valued.

Qualifications

• Background in computer science or information security.
• Hands-on experience with network security tools.
• Scripting ability and drive to automate repetitive work.
• Autonomy, curiosity and clear communication.
• Bonus: participation in CTFs or homelab projects.

Responsibilities

• Run IT and security operations including onboarding and offboarding colleagues (accounts, devices and access rights).
• Run security scans and report findings clearly.
• Organise security and compliance training sessions for the whole company.
• Find pragmatic ways to automate IT and security processes using automation tools or AI models.
• Take ownership of the systems you build and maintain documentation.
• Keep controls and evidence up to date for ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Stay on top of new threats and tools and propose what’s worth adopting.
