Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters Inc. is seeking a Junior HR professional to lead the full spectrum of HR activities in the Netherlands from our Amsterdam office, with occasional store visits.

You will independently manage day-to-day HR operations while collaborating with US and Israel teams. You will help structure and professionalize local HR processes and play a pivotal role in supporting future international expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience (internships included).
• Solid understanding of Dutch labour law.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full employee lifecycle independently (onboarding, contracts, changes, offboarding, salary).
• Set up and maintain HR administration, systems and personnel files in line with GDPR.
• Coordinate recruitment end-to-end and act as first point of contact for HR questions.
• Coordinate payroll input and liaise with external payroll providers.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch labour law and internal policies.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and templates.
• Collaborate with US and Israel head offices on HR matters.
• Prepare HR processes for expansion into other EU markets.
• Support employee engagement and performance management processes.
