Job summary

Smart-Ship B.V. in Delft is seeking a Junior Hardware Engineer (EPLAN) to contribute to propulsion control systems.

You will develop and refine electrical schematics in EPLAN P8/Pro Panel, and help design control cabinets for marine applications. Working with software, workshop and commissioning engineers, you will prepare BOMs, cabling lists and component libraries, and travel to install and commission hardware on vessels as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• EPLAN experience with P8/Pro Panel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and update electrical schematics in EPLAN P8 / Pro Panel.
• Prepare and maintain bills of materials, terminal diagrams and cable lists.
• Process project and commissioning revisions.
• Develop EPLAN macros, templates and component libraries.
• Coordinate designs, component selection and modular hardware solutions with software, workshop and commissioning engineers.
• Join installation, testing and commissioning on board vessels.
