Job summary

TaxMate, based in Amsterdam, seeks a Junior Fiscal Account Manager to support the bookkeeping team by maintaining client administrations and preparing VAT returns. You will be trained to take on increasingly complex tasks and work with our apps to improve efficiency.

You will also help enhance processes and services as you grow with the company in a dynamic Amsterdam startup environment.

Qualifications

• Currently completing a bachelor's or master's degree in taxation, economics, or accountancy.
• Affinity with bookkeeping/fiscal services.
• Proactive and eager to learn, with basic MS Office skills.
• Fluent Dutch and English in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client administrations and prepare VAT returns for clients.
• Support preparation of annual accounts and income tax returns as you gain experience.
• Work with TaxMate apps and tools to operate efficiently and clearly.
• Actively contribute to refining our processes and services.

Your role

As a Junior Fiscal Account Manager you support the TaxMate bookkeeping team with maintaining client administrations and preparing VAT returns. You will also be trained to take on increasingly complex tasks such as preparing annual accounts and income tax returns. You will work with our apps and tools to work efficiently and clearly.

You also play an active role in thinking about and improving our processes and services.

What do we expect from you?

• You are currently completing a bachelor's or master's degree in taxation, economics, or accountancy.
• Affinity with bookkeeping/fiscal services.
• Proactive and eager to learn.
• Basic skills in MS Office.
• You speak and write fluent Dutch and English.
