Job summary

Turner Engine Control Solutions (TECS) based in Hoofddorp, Netherlands, is seeking a Workshop Technician Electrical to repair, modify and test electronic and mechatronic controls and actuators in a high-tech workshop.

You will troubleshoot down to component level, document tests, and occasionally assist with switch cabinet assembly. A strong electronics background, soldering skills and willingness to learn are essential; English is required, Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• MBO4+ in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of electronics, schematics, soldering, and test equipment.
• Analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Good English (Dutch advantageous).
• VCA-Basic certification (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Test analog/digital controls and electromechanical actuators to spec.
• Diagnose faults to component level (PCBs, transistors, ICs).
• Disassemble, clean, reassemble, test, calibrate and coat components.
• Prepare material lists, repair reports, and test documentation.
• Occasionally assist with switch cabinet building and testing.
• Calibrate test equipment and provide technical support.
