Job summary

Haskoning seeks a Junior Data Scientist to accelerate AI adoption in our Supply Chain & Logistics advisory group. You will develop AI-driven tools, build models in Python, and contribute to client projects while learning cutting-edge AI techniques.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary experts across advisory groups, digital teams, and AI initiatives, leveraging data science, optimization, and software development to deliver tangible business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science & AI or related field
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills
• Programming in Python and SQL with strong analytical abilities
• Understanding of data pipelines, data modelling, and LLM concepts (prompting, embeddings, RAG)
• Proactive, eager to learn and share knowledge

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions creating value for internal and client projects
• Develop AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and productivity and define best practices for prompting and governance
• Contribute to supply chain and logistics client projects including planning, optimization, and cost-to-serve analyses
• Perform data analyses and build models in Python
• Assist with validation, interpretation, and communication of results and enhancements with AI/LLMs
