Job summary

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join an Agile DevOps team. You will help build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes, working with Azure and data platforms to support business decisions.

You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and stakeholders, participate in ceremonies, and grow your technical skills through hands‑on projects with Databricks, Kafka, and Airflow in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Basic knowledge of programming, preferably Python.
  • Basic understanding of databases and data processing concepts.
  • Interest in cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • An eagerness to learn and grow within a Data Engineering role.
  • Experience through internships, university projects, personal projects, or certifications in technologies such as Azure, Databricks, Kafka, or Airflow is a plus.

Your job
