Saxion is seeking a Junior researcher in Data-driven intelligence and AI to conduct applied research, analyze data sources, and develop ML models under experienced researchers. You will join the Data-driven Investigations team in LED, working from Enschede, Deventer and Apeldoorn, contributing to technical and academic outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in statistics, data science, computer science, applied mathematics or related field.
• Strong statistical and quantitative analysis skills with theoretical grounding.
• Interest or experience in quantitative modelling and machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python programming for data science and collaboration with developers.
• Research-oriented mindset with critical and analytical thinking in safety and security applications.

Responsibilities
