Job summary

Fluor Infrastructure B.V. is seeking a Junior Cost Controller to join our project controls team and contribute to cost, planning and progress management on large infrastructure projects.

You will work alongside experienced Cost Engineers, Planners and Project Managers, with ample room to grow. The role involves data analysis, reporting, and occasional site visits, within a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• A completed HBO or WO degree in a relevant field or proven related work experience
• Initial experience in Cost Control, Project Controls, Planning or Finance in a project context
• Affinity with infrastructure, engineering, or large projects
• Strong Excel and standard software skills
• Good command of Dutch and English
• Accurate, analytical, and time-conscious
• Basic knowledge of engineering models and drawings is a plus
• Interest in learning MS Power BI is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support the project team in monitoring costs, planning and progress
• Collaborate with Cost Engineers, Planners and Project Managers
• Prepare and maintain cost reports according to internal and client requirements
• Update weekly work plans and forecasts
• Assist with personnel forecasts, cash flows and project income statements
• Identify trends, deviations and potential risks
• Contribute to change management and project reporting
• Prepare historical project data and management reports
• Occasionally travel to project sites
• Gain on-site insight into work and progress

De functie

Wil jij werken aan toonaangevende infrastructurele projecten en je verder ontwikkelen binnen Project Controls?

Bij Fluor Infra BV zijn we op zoek naar een Junior Cost Controller die energie krijgt van cijfers, planning en projectbeheersing binnen een technische projectomgeving.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Als Junior Cost Controller ondersteun je het projectteam bij het bewaken en analyseren van kosten, planning en voortgang. Je werkt samen met ervaren Cost Engineers, Planners en Project Managers en krijgt volop ruimte om te groeien.

Je houdt je onder andere bezig met:

• Verzamelen, controleren en analyseren van projectdata (kosten & planning)
• Correct invoeren van gegevens in Project Controls-systemen volgens WBS- en codestructuren
• Opstellen en bijhouden van kostenrapportages volgens interne en klantvereisten
• Actualiseren van wekelijkse werkplannen en forecasts
• Ondersteunen bij personeelsprognoses, cashflows en Project Income Statements
• Signaleren van trends, afwijkingen en potentiële risico’s
• Bijdragen aan change management en projectrapportages
• Voorbereiden van historische projectdata en managementrapportages
• Incidenteel reizen naar projectlocaties
• Regelmatig buiten op bouwlocaties inzicht verkrijgen in de werkzaamheden en de voortgang

Basic Job Requirements

• Een afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding in een relevante richting (of aantoonbare relevante werkervaring)
• Eerste ervaring binnen Cost Control, Project Controls, Planning of Finance in een projectomgeving
• Affiniteit met infrastructuur, techniek of grote projecten
• Goede vaardigheden in Excel en andere standaardsoftware
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal
• Je werkt nauwkeurig, analytisch en bent tijdsbewust
• Basiskennis van engineeringmodellen en technische / constructietekeningen is een pré
• Interesse in (het leren van) MS Power BI is een pré
