About The Job

As a Buyer, you play a key role within our organization. You operate at the intersection of commerce, creativity, and operations, and collaborate closely with international suppliers, ateliers, and internal teams. You are responsible for managing and developing our cut‑length collections within the suits and shirts categories—and taking them to the next level. In this role, the emphasis is not only on classic buyer tasks, but also on making our processes smarter, more efficient, and future‑proof. You are given the space and the responsibility to transform labor‑intensive activities into automated, scalable solutions.

What will you be doing?
  • You manage our cut‑length collections for suits and shirts and ensure they align perfectly with our brand identity and customer demand;
  • You conduct price negotiations with (international) suppliers and ensure that we remain competitive in the market;
  • You build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers from Italy, England, France, and others;
  • You continuously analyze and improve the reliability of quality and delivery times;
  • You identify opportunities to make processes more efficient and effective and implement improvements together with suppliers and internal teams;
  • You take the lead in automating administrative and operational processes (think of scanning, API connections, AI applications, and other innovations) in collaboration with IT and other departments;
  • You work closely with design, marketing, and operations to successfully develop and implement collections;
  • You manage budgets, place orders, and monitor the progress of the purchasing process;
  • You evaluate fabrics and samples for quality, sustainability, fit, and performance;
  • You translate customer feedback and data into concrete improvements for suppliers;
  • You represent the purchasing team in organization‑wide projects, particularly in the areas of digitalization and process optimization.
About You
  • A Bachelor's degree in fashion or a textile‑related field;
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Experience with menswear is a plus;
  • Affinity with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR);
  • An optimistic and flexible attitude;
  • A solution‑oriented and structured working method;
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and to meet tight deadlines;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Fluent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Why work here?
  • A competitive salary in the range of €3181 and €3800 (depending on your experience);
  • A great team of 150 young and enthusiastic colleagues;
  • An energetic work environment;
  • A generous employee discount;
  • Office parties;
  • A discounted gym subscription;
  • A bike lease program;
  • A personal learning and development budget;
  • A great company pension;
  • Opportunities to develop yourself and your own ideas.
