Job summary

Responsibilities

• Integrate acquired assets into the portfolio and maintain buildings in Yardi.
• Monitor property performance indicators such as vacancy rate and rent collection.
• Provide administrative support including rent billing and collection of overdue rent.
• Maintain relationships with tenants and respond to their needs.
• Support accounting activities and relocation strategies.
• Assist with negotiating financial and legal lease conditions.
• Follow technical stakeholders and implement asset improvement projects.
• Perform financial modeling of a property strategy.
• Identify value creation opportunities.
• Contribute to operation and development of the Asset Management department.

The Junior Asset Manager supports the Asset Management team in the operational, financial and strategic management of a diversified real estate portfolio. Working closely with senior Asset Managers, the role contributes directly to tenant satisfaction, asset performance and long-term value creation.

You will perform the functions of Junior Asset Manager, working directly under the Asset Managers and support them on:

• Integrate acquired assets into the portfolio, set up and maintain buildings in Yardi (our Real Estate management ERP software), actively monitor and anticipate critical events, including acquisitions, lease commencements, expirations, renewals;
• Maintain up-to-date property data and analyses of property performance and indicators (vacancy rate, rent collection rate, rental trends, lease expirations, etc.);
• Provide administrative support such as rent billing, collection of overdue rent, etc.
• Ensure the follow-up of the tenants, their needs and their demands in order to maintain a long-lasting and high quality relationship;
• Accounting
• Support with implementing relocation strategies and follow-up of mandates
• Support with negotiating financial and legal conditions of leases

Technical management

• Follow technical stakeholders if works are done
• Definition and implementation of technical projects to improve the assets
• Service charge reconciliations
• Financial modeling of a property strategy on real estate assets
