Swisscom in Rotterdam is seeking a curious Junior AI Platform Engineer to shape the next generation of AI platforms in a cloud environment. You will join a team that values learning, experimentation, and practical AI delivery.

You will work with AWS Bedrock and modern tooling, building AI capabilities and contributing to scalable solutions while growing your AI-focused engineering skills and mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Based in the Netherlands and eligible to work here.
• AWS experience is required.
• Proven track record in AI projects or related initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve AI platform capabilities together with experienced engineers.
• Explore and evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Develop and experiment with AI agents, agentic workflows, MCP integrations, AI skills, and modern AI tooling.
• Support the development of internal AI platforms and developer experiences.
• Contribute to AI-enabled automation and engineering solutions.
• Work with AWS-based ecosystem around Bedrock and cloud-native technologies.
• Collaborate with software engineers, platform engineers, and AI specialists to deliver practical AI solutions.
• Continuously learn, share knowledge, and help shape how AI is adopted across engineering.
