Job summary

STX Group is seeking an early-career Finance professional to join the collaborative Finance team in Amsterdam. On the job, you’ll support accurate financial records, cash flow, and month-end activities.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with core accounting tasks, develop technical skills, and contribute to process improvements in a supportive environment. A Bachelor’s degree and fluency in English are required, with relocation support available.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day, monthly and year-end financial operations including audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes within the team.

TEAM AND ROLE:

You’ll join a collaborative Finance team responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth running of day-to-day operations. The team works closely across the business to ensure strong financial controls, timely reporting, and continuous process improvements. In this role, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across core accounting activities, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and supporting month‑end and audit processes. It’s a great opportunity for someone early in their career to develop technical skills, take ownership of tasks, and contribute to improving finance processes within a supportive and dynamic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Processing purchase invoices and expense reports according to the existing procedures
• Processing of payment and bank transactions and daily reconciliations of bank statements and cash flow overviews
• Perform monthly reconciliations between the General Ledger and the Subledger, balance sheet reconciliations
• Support the Finance team with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the finance department, including audits
• Within the financial administrative organization, you identify possibilities for improvement and procedures

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Finance and Accounting or equivalent certification
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience and fluent English speaking, available to start in January
• The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and critical person with a good understanding of the accounting principles
• Eager to assume responsibilities, learn new tasks and work autonomously
• Proactive, hands‑on, innovative and excellent analytical skills
