Responsibilities
- You develop and engineer mechanical systems and components for submarines.
- You create 3D models and detailed designs using Autodesk Inventor.
- You perform structural and strength analyses in ANSYS, including various load cases and operating conditions.
- You support and mentor junior engineers.
- You translate functional requirements into robust mechanical designs that meet performance, safety, and quality standards.
- You collaborate closely with team members to exchange ideas, review designs, and ensure integrated engineering solutions.
- You contribute to technical documentation, reports, and design reviews.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical product development.
- Demonstrated experience with mechanical systems such as cranes, gearboxes or similar components.
- Proficiency in Inventor for modelling mechanical systems.
- Solid experience with ANSYS for performing strength and structural analyses.
- EU nationality because of military projects.
