Smulders is seeking a commissioning professional to support plans, monitor component installation, and perform thorough functional tests in the offshore wind and civil sectors. You will work mainly from Vlissingen with regular attendance in Arendonk, collaborating with project teams and suppliers to ensure safe, efficient commissioning.

Qualifikationen

• Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical installations in offshore wind farms is a strong asset.
• Good knowledge of English; Dutch language is a plus.
• Works mainly at Vlissingen site with regular attendance in Arendonk.

• Support the Commissioning Manager in drawing up commissioning plans, limits, schedules and test strategies.
• Monitor installation of components and report accurately.
• Carry out thorough functional tests on substation equipment and validate operation.
• Identify technical problems, resolve them and communicate clearly.
• Document test results and commissioning activities in detail.
• Review FAT procedures and attend FAT tests as a representative.
• Manage and inventory tools and materials during commissioning.
• Apply internal safety procedures and give clear instructions.
• Monitor safety and quality and stop the job if necessary.
• Coordinate activities, provide instructions and monitor progress, quality and safety.
• Maintain communication with project teams, QA/QC, suppliers and system integrators.

• You will support the Commissioning Manager in drawing up commissioning plans, limits, schedules and test strategies (MC, HAT, SIT, etc.).
• You will monitor the installation of all components (transformers, control systems, piping, cranes, etc.) and report accurately.
• You will carry out thorough functional tests on all substation equipment and validate that everything is running as it should.
• You will identify technical problems, resolve them and communicate clearly with the Commissioning Manager.
• You will document test results, changes and commissioning activities in detail.
• You will review FAT procedures and attend FAT tests as a representative of the Commissioning Manager.
• You will manage and inventory the necessary tools and materials during the commissioning process.
• You will strictly apply internal procedures (safety, LOTO, PTW, etc.) and give clear instructions to colleagues involved.
• You monitor safety and quality and, if necessary, immediately take a ‘stop the job’ decision.
• You coordinate activities, give functional instructions and monitor progress, quality and safety within the teams.
• You maintain internal and external communication with project teams, QA/QC, suppliers and system integrators.

Your magic skills

• has a technical bachelor's degree or other diploma or experience in electrical systems.
• Do you have knowledge of electrical installations in offshore wind farms? This is a very strong asset.
• has a good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• works mainly at our site in Vlissingen and regular attendance at the Smulders location in Arendonk is required.
• Is a team player who shows initiative and has a no-nonsense mentality.
• Is a creative problem solver who does the work like an expert. Previous experience attests to this.
