A leading ERP solutions provider is looking for a JD Edwards Functional ERP Consultant in Utrecht, Netherlands. The successful candidate will optimize and implement solutions for manufacturing and logistics clients, ensuring effective business processes. Required skills include proven experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems and strong knowledge of manufacturing/logistics processes. The position is full-time and permanent, with a preference for Dutch, but proficiency in English is also needed.

JD Edwards Functional ERP Consultant – Manufacturing & Logistics

What will you do

As a JD Edwards ERP Consultant, you will be responsible for optimizing and implementing business processes for various clients. You translate functional challenges into effective solutions within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, working closely with users, IT teams, and project managers.

Your responsibilities

• Analyse, design, and optimize processes within Manufacturing and Logistics.
• Advise clients on the best possible JD Edwards EnterpriseOne setup.
• Execute functional testing and guide key users.
• Resolve complex functional issues.
• Support upgrades, enhancements, and new releases.
• Document processes, designs, and configurations.
• Act as a sparring partner for both business and IT.

Configure and implement modules such as:

• Inventory Management
• Sales Order Management
• Warehousing & Logistics

What you bring

• Proven experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or similar ERP systems (SAP, Infor, Microsoft, IFS).
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and/or logistics processes.
• Solution‑oriented mindset and ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Professional, reliable, and clear communicator.
• Experience working in projects and flexibility to switch between tasks.
• Analytical, proactive, and service‑minded.
• Knowledge of system integrations.
• ERP implementation experience in manufacturing or logistics companies is a plus.
