Job summary

TESTQ Technologies LTD. seeks a Mid-level Java Back-end Developer to join our DevOps teams in a hybrid setup (3 days office). You will design, build, and operate microservice backends using Java 17+ and Spring Boot, emphasize Clean Code and design patterns, and contribute to CI/CD automation and testing.

Requirements include completed MBO/HBO/WO, excellent Dutch language skills, and hands-on experience with Maven, Git, Docker, and related tooling. Energy sector experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completed MBO/HBO/WO education.
• Experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of design patterns and Clean Code.
• Understanding of test levels (unit, functional, API, mocking, E2E).
• Excellent command of Dutch, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and run backend systems in a microservice landscape.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated quality controls, and testing.
• Participate in design and refinement sessions and incident management.
• Apply security, quality, and availability best practices.
