Catawiki is seeking an IT Systems & Services Intern to gain hands-on experience in how an IT team operates within a business. The role is based in Amsterdam and offers exposure to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organisation.

You will learn employee lifecycle aspects from a support function perspective, contributing to productivity and IT service delivery while developing practical skills in end-user support and device provisioning.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled at a Dutch university for the full internship.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
• Willingness to learn and help across IT support tasks.
• Familiarity with Apple laptops is a plus.

• End-user Support: serve as first contact for IT issues and resolve day-to-day problems.
• Device Management: provision and configure laptops; manage hardware logistics.
• Onboard new employees and set up accounts; offboard when needed.
• Document solutions and share knowledge with end-users.
• Maintain accurate process documentation.

About the role

As an IT Systems & Services (ITSS) Intern, you will gain experience and knowledge about how an IT team operates within a business. You’ll have the opportunity to work with all kinds of stakeholders from various areas within the organisation; both technical and non-technical. You will gain knowledge on the employee lifecycle from the perspective of a support function of an organisation and how we impact overall productivity.

What you’ll do

End-user Support:

• Serve as first point of contact for technical support, managing and resolving day-to-day IT issues
• Coordinate with senior team members for complex problem resolution
• Document solutions and share knowledge with end-users

Device Management and Lifecycle:

• Execute end-to-end laptop provisioning and configuration
• Manage hardware logistics and inventory tracking
• Handle employee technology onboarding, including account creation and system setup
• Coordinate equipment returns and account closures during offboarding
• Maintain accurate documentation of all processes

• Fluent in English - Dutch & additional languages are a plus
• Currently enrolled in a Dutch university & remain enrolled for the entire duration of the internship
