Job summary

Allseas is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to join the IT Systems team in Delft. You will design, implement, automate, and support core infrastructure services across the organisation, collaborating with Cyber Security and Digital Platform teams to ensure secure and reliable IT operations for offices and vessels.

The role requires Windows Server and Linux experience, IaC with Terraform/Ansible, Azure DevOps, and scripting. Travel offshore may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills; proactive on automation.
• Willingness to travel and work offshore when required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, automate, and support core infrastructure services.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, Connectivity, and Digital Platform teams to ensure secure, connected, and automated infrastructure.
• Manage Windows Server, Linux, and Proxmox VE environments.
• Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
• Implement backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve infrastructure performance and availability.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Participate in on-call support for critical infrastructure services.
