Job summary

Allseas is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to join our Delft-based IT Systems team. You will design, implement, and automate core infrastructure services across our global operations, ensuring secure, reliable, and highly available IT services for offices, vessels, and critical applications.

You will work with Windows Server, Linux, Proxmox VE, and modern automation tools like Terraform and Ansible, collaborating with Cyber Security and other teams to deliver scalable solutions and improved

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (HBO/BSc) required.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Experience with Proxmox VE virtualization.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with backup, recovery, DR, and high availability.
• Scripting experience: PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Willingness to travel offshore when required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, automate, and support core infrastructure services.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, Connectivity, and Digital Platform teams to ensure secure and automated infrastructure.
• Manage Windows Server, Linux, and Proxmox VE environments.
• Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
• Implement backup, DR, and business continuity solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve infrastructure performance and availability.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.
