Job summary

Lilly is seeking an Associate Director – IT Systems Delivery Lead to guide large, cross-functional programs at our Indianapolis, IN site. You will oversee design, execution and delivery on green-field facilities, ensuring alignment with strategy, budgets and regulatory requirements.

The role requires deep program management expertise, experience with Agile/Waterfall, GxP compliance, and strong communication with senior leaders. Travel 5-10% and a focus on manufacturing IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, project management or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in program or portfolio management overseeing multiple projects
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall and Scrum methodologies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience in Pharma and GMP Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale programs from design to delivery in a green-field site.
• Oversee release train processes and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Apply Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies to manage timelines and resources.
• Ensure GxP compliance and regulatory alignment across programs.
• Engage stakeholders with clear communication and regular updates.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure success.
• Allocate resources across projects to optimize productivity.
• Generate comprehensive progress and outcomes reports.
• Understand site business processes and collaborate with Process Engineers and Operations to resolve issues.
• Drive adoption of solutions aligned with IT strategy and business needs.
