Job summary

Workwize is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to own day-to-day IT for our Amsterdam team, supporting Windows/macOS endpoints, SaaS access, and onboarding/offboarding. The role offers a flexible hybrid model with on-site presence three days per week and opportunities to advance into identity, security and automation projects.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration, experience with MDM tools (Jamf/Kandji/Intune), and strong English communication.

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join our Internal IT team in Amsterdam. As Workwize grows towards 200 employees, you will own day-to-day IT for our own people: the support queue, onboarding and offboarding, macOS and Windows endpoints, and SaaS access.

You will keep our IT running smoothly and free up our IT Manager to focus on security, identity and our Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace migration. Over time, you will take on bigger workstreams across identity, endpoint security and automation.

This role is open as part-time (24-36 hours) or full-time (40 hours), all options with 3 days per week in our Amsterdam office.

Key Responsibilities

Support and lifecycle

• Own the internal IT support queue and keep SLA compliance at 90% or higher.
• Run onboarding and offboarding end to end: accounts, devices, apps and licenses.
• Keep SaaS access, licenses and access reviews clean and up to date.

Endpoints and identity

• Administer macOS and Windows devices: MDM, patching, EDR and device recovery.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Google Workspace, SSO, MFA and shared mailboxes.
• Support incidents and security investigations.

Process and automation

• Write runbooks and automate recurring work, so the same issue does not come back.
• Use data to improve SLAs, device compliance and license management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD) administration.
• Hands-on experience managing macOS devices through an MDM, such as Jamf, Kandji or Intune.
• Experience with an ITSM tool and SLA-driven support.
• Experience owning onboarding, offboarding, access and device readiness.
• A good understanding of least privilege, MFA and secure offboarding.
• Excellent English, written and spoken.
• Able to work from our Amsterdam office 3 days per week.

Bonus Skills

• Google Workspace administration.
• SSO / SAML and SCIM provisioning.
• Windows endpoint management (Intune, Autopilot) and EDR tools such as Defender, CrowdStrike or SentinelOne.
• PowerShell or Python scripting.
• Using AI tools for IT administration and documentation.
• Experience at a scale‑up of 150 to 400 people.
