Terma Space Division seeks a junior IT Support & Linux Engineer to join our operational IT team at ESTEC, Noordwijk. The role focuses on Linux-related support alongside general end-user IT tasks in a technical environment.
You will take ownership of tasks, grow toward broader infrastructure roles, and work in a full-time position at our space division with opportunities to learn and contribute to mission-critical systems.
Would you like to be part of our specialist services group, who have been providing engineering support to space agencies and prime contractors for more than 40 years? For our operational IT support activities we are seeking a (junior) IT Support & Linux Engineer, at the beginning of their career, who wants to further develop within a technical IT environment.
The focus of the role is Linux-related support combined with general IT support activities for end users and technical infrastructure. You will take part in the day-to-day operational IT activities of a technical environment, take ownership of your tasks, and grow step by step towards a broader infrastructure or Linux engineering role.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone with potential and the right mindset: enthusiastic about technology, enjoying working with IT, and keen on solving problems. A candidate who already experiments at home with servers, networking, virtualization, firewalls, or Linux environments would fit this profile well.
This is a full‑time position located at ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands.
The foreseen start of work is November 2026.
