Job summary

Global Enterprise Partners is seeking an IT Finance Program Controller for a large cloud transformation in Amsterdam. You will lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and cost governance across infrastructure initiatives, partnering with finance, IT, and vendor teams.

The role is freelance/temporary with 2–3 days onsite in Amsterdam. You will deliver executive reporting, benefit realisation tracking, and cost optimisation across global programmes, ensuring transparency and value across strategic

Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of FP&A and programme budget management experience.
  • Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost optimisation.
  • Experience tracking benefits realisation and performance against strategic objectives.
  • Good understanding of cloud, data centre, software licensing, and IT infrastructure cost structures.
  • Experience supporting vendor and contract financial management, including invoice and cost tracking.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with both finance and technical teams.
  • Ability to provide executive-level financial reporting, governance, and decision-making support.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage programme budgets for cloud migration, infrastructure transformation, and related initiatives.
  • Create cost models and forecasts to monitor programme spend and financial performance.
  • Track benefits realisation and validate financial outcomes against approved business cases.
  • Oversee financial aspects of infrastructure consolidation activities, including asset write-offs, lease impacts, and cost savings.
  • Support vendor financial governance, contract optimisation, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Deliver financial reporting and insights to senior leadership and governance boards.
  • Establish financial controls, improve forecasting processes, and identify cost optimisation opportunities.

This role will be responsible for financial planning, governance, and oversight of large-scale cloud transformation and infrastructure modernisation programmes.
