Job summary

Air Liquide is recruiting an Automation Engineer to bridge operations, automation infrastructure and cybersecurity across Benelux sites. You will modernize legacy control systems, own the IT/OT roadmap, and support NIS2/Cbw compliance for ALBI Benelux.

You will collaborate with local engineering teams on site in Rozenburg and Pernis, while contributing to long-term strategy across other sites in the Benelux. Fluent Dutch/English and DCS/PLC experience are essential.

Qualifications

Fluent in Dutch and English.
Experience with DCS/PLC environments (Yokogawa, Foxboro, Siemens).
Knowledge of asset management and lifecycle planning for industrial hardware.
Digital resilience mindset with a focus on cybersecurity for critical infrastructure.
Collaborative communicator able to translate IT/OT requirements to operational stakeholders.
Understanding of NIS2, Cbw, and IEC-62443 frameworks or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Act as primary point of contact for IT/OT changes within the organization.
Manage lifecycle of OT assets, identifying obsolete components for replacement.
Participate in FAT/SAT for new OT infrastructure and software integrations.
Implement cybersecurity measures (MFA, network segmentation, logging) across DCS/PLC environments.
Coordinate with cluster teams for global cybersecurity policy alignment.
Assist with small process control logic adjustments and HMI configuration as needed.
