Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking an Automation Engineer to bridge operations, automation infrastructure and digital security. You will own IT/OT modernization projects across Rozenburg and Pernis sites, collaborating with local engineering teams and shaping strategy for Benelux.

The role emphasizes cybersecurity, policy alignment, and hands-on support for process controls and HMI configuration. Dutch and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with DCS/PLC environments from industrial settings.
• Familiarity with IT/OT convergence and OT cybersecurity.
• Ability to translate IT/OT requirements to operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT/OT roadmap development and deployment.
• Revamp legacy control systems and obsolete OT hardware.
• Support NIS2/Cbw compliance across Benelux sites.
• Oversee IT/OT changes and OT asset lifecycle.
• Coordinate cybersecurity measures across DCS/PLC environments.
