Job summary

Loop is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to own and evolve a cloud-first IT environment in Amsterdam or Antwerp. You’ll manage Google Workspace, GCP, and Slack end-to-end within a complex SaaS ecosystem, translating business needs into scalable tech while keeping systems reliable and secure.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in IT, including 3+ years in complex Google Workspace and GCP environments
• Deep, hands-on expertise in Google Workspace administration (identity, access, security, automation) and GCP
• Experience operating in complex, multi-tool SaaS environments
• Proven ability to manage and deliver IT projects end-to-end, including vendor management and procurement
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and capabilities
• Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and aligning different opinions, needs, and expectations
• Excellent people skills — approachable, empathetic, and a strong listener
• Strong customer-service mindset with a focus on end-user experience
• You balance engineering depth with a willingness to stay hands-on in support when needed
• Adapt quickly and don’t get frustrated when requirements evolve or change
