Our client is a dynamic international, organization. The Digital Solutions department is globally responsible for applications architecture, specifying, coding and developing, testing and running global solutions for the companies systems.

Job description

As an IT Lead SCM, you and your global team are responsible for supporting the SCM function with their IT roadmap and (digital) IT solutions architecture, specifying, coding, testing and running and ensuring the industrialization of new IT services within the SCM field. You directly report to the Director Digital Solutions and work closely with peer IT leads, the Enterprise Architect, Data Architect, the CiSo team and the Operations team.

You will make key contributions to:

• Support the SCM function with their IT roadmap towards business excellence and be involved in ideation stages for new solutions and/or improvements.
• Manage, enable and support a Global Agile SCM team including talent acquisition and development.
• Collaborate and coordinate with innovation teams to introduce “new” technology capabilities into the SCM domain.
• Engage with other Chapter Leads, Global Process Owners and Business Process Owners how the use of information solutions could be further improved, leveraged and/or replaced.
• Act as an enabler to drive change and create value for the end to end solution by supporting the business stakeholders and sponsors to design the best approach for rollout and adoption, governance, etc.
• Analyse business (process) performance and identify potential improvements, embracing internal and external best practices effectively to drive operational excellence.
• Coordinate with other IT leaders to align platform architectures, capabilities and the industrialization according to the agreed roadmap for SCM.
• Responsible for team supervision and customer escalations when required.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with key business and technology stakeholders to deliver at scale with speed, ensuring the right geographical front-/back- office mix.

You recognise yourself in the following profile

• Bachelor or Master degree with experience in SCM processes.
• At least 8 years of experience in information technology within the SCM domain.
• At least 4 years lead/management experience.
• Experience with SAP ERP (ECC, Integrated Business Planning, Warehouse Management, Order to Cash).
• Demonstrated hands-on approach with strong ownership and leadership skills.
• Understands information architecture (data, process and IT) and industry best practices.
• Knows the business processes to a high level of detail that run in the SCM domain.
• Collaboration skills to orchestrate activities with diverse stakeholders with adequate sense of urgency and to share insights with colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills (English is a must and German and/or Dutch is a pre) including the ability to relate to various levels in the organization, through presentation, discussion and or virtual engagements.
• Enabling / servant leadership skills to utilize his/her team to the max.
• A drive and curiosity for new technologies and innovations in the fast moving supply market with constant changes and new technologies (Gen AI, Mobility, Analytics, cloud computing).
• Experience in managing internal and external service providers.
• You can work independently within strict deadlines and are comfortable managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong strategical and tactical skills and the ability to support the SCM function in defining their roadmap and ambitions.
• Ability to manage budgets and demand and supply.

Salary package

Yearly package is between 92.000,- euro and 131.000,- euro including holiday allowance, 13 months and performance bonus. They have additional holidays and a good pension scheme. There is a modern culture, you will be working hybrid with 3 days a week in the office.
