Job summary

RED Global is seeking an experienced IT Business Partner to bridge IT and the Finance & Procurement functions, owning a portfolio of enterprise applications with SAP S/4HANA at the core. You will translate business needs into actionable SAP and technology solutions and ensure reliability, security and continuous improvement across the landscape.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, manage external SAP partners, and drive optimal alignment between processes, data and internal controls

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in IT Business Partnering, IT Service Ownership, Application Management, IT Service Management or a comparable business-facing IT role.
• Strong experience working within an SAP environment, ideally SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP applications supporting Finance and/or Procurement processes.
• A solid functional understanding of Finance and Procurement processes and how these can be supported through SAP.
• Experience working with enterprise SaaS applications and integrated application landscapes.
• Solid knowledge of IT Service Management principles, including incident, change and vendor management.
• Experience working with external SAP partners, managed service providers, outsourcing partners or implementation partners.
• Experience managing SLAs, vendor performance and contractual commitments.
• The ability to build trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders and act as a credible bridge between IT and the business.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• The ability to translate complex or ambiguous business requirements into actionable SAP and technology solutions.
• A proactive and structured approach to continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities and work effectively across organisational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of IT services and applications supporting the Finance and Procurement domains.
• Act as the primary IT Business Partner for Finance and Procurement stakeholders, developing a strong understanding of their priorities and technology requirements.
• Act as the business-facing Service Owner for SAP S/4HANA and other applications within the Finance and Procurement landscape.
• Translate business requirements into practical SAP and wider IT solutions.
• Ensure application availability, reliability, security, compliance and overall service quality.
• Coordinate SAP-related functional improvements, changes, releases and optimisation initiatives.
• Work closely with external SAP partners and other service providers responsible for operational and functional support.
• Identify, analyse and resolve operational and functional challenges across the application landscape.
• Proactively monitor application performance, service quality and user adoption.
• Drive continuous improvement through standardisation, process optimisation and automation.
• Support and contribute to projects, implementations, system upgrades, releases and go-live activities.
• Advise business stakeholders on SAP and application capabilities, best practices and opportunities to increase business value from technology investments.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, Procurement, IT, Security, Architecture and other relevant functions.
• Manage external vendors, service performance, SLAs, application dependencies and contractual commitments.
• Ensure alignment between business processes, SAP capabilities, application functionality, data requirements and internal control requirements.
• Develop and maintain application roadmaps covering SAP, other enterprise applications, lifecycle management, future improvements and evolving business requirements.
• Contribute to longer-term technology and capability planning across the Finance and Procurement landscape.

The organisation is strengthening its IT capabilities and is looking for an experienced IT BP SAP Finance & Procurement to take responsibility for a portfolio of business-critical applications, with SAP S/4HANA playing a central role within the application landscape.

The position combines strategic business partnering with hands-on service ownership and provides significant exposure to senior stakeholders across both business and IT.

About the Role

The role

As IT BP, you will act as the strategic link between IT and the Finance and Procurement functions.You will develop a strong understanding of business priorities, challenges and future requirements and translate these into reliable, scalable and continuously improving technology solutions.At the same time, you will take end-to-end ownership of a portfolio of enterprise applications supporting critical Finance and Procurement processes. SAP S/4HANA is a key platform within this landscape. From a business and service perspective, you will ensure that the SAP environment effectively supports Finance and Procurement processes and continues to evolve in line with changing business requirements. The broader landscape consists of SAP and other enterprise SaaS applications. You will ensure that these solutions remain stable, secure, compliant and fit for purpose, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes, integrations, automation and user experience. The position operates at the intersection of business partnering, SAP, application management, IT service management and vendor management. You will work closely with internal stakeholders as well as external technology, SAP and service partners.

You are comfortable operating between business and IT and have the ability to understand business processes while engaging effectively with technical teams and external service providers.

Required Skills

Pay range and compensation package
