Job summary

ABB zoekt een ervaren IT/IS-projectmanager voor wereldwijde strategische initiatieven binnen MOIM. Je leidt SAP Ariba SCC-implementaties, beheert cross-functionele teams en zorgt voor integratie met ERP-systemen, terwijl je training en best practices stimuleert ter verbetering van inkoop en leveringsketen.

De rol vereist 5–8 jaar ervaring, sterke communicatie en een proactieve, klantgerichte benadering. De werkstijl is hybride, met samenwerking over wereldwijde MOIM- en P&F-teams.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years ervaring als IS/IT Project Manager in een globale matrixorganisatie.
• Ervaring met SAP ARIBA SCC en implementaties, plus ervaring met inkoop en kwaliteitsprocessen is een plus.
• Aantoonbare ervaring in het leiden van complexe en verspreide projecten.
• Kennis van SAP MM-module is een voordeel.
• Uitstekende mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatie, en in staat om zonder directe autoriteit te beïnvloeden.

Responsibilities

• Aansturen van IT/IS-projecten en verbeteren van PMO-reikwijdte.
• Leiden van volledige SAP Ariba SCC-implementaties van planning tot livegang en nazorg.
• Coördineren van ARIBA-trainingsprogramma's en best-practice delen.
• Samenwerken met belanghebbenden, externe implementatiepartners en SAP-ondersteuning om inkoopvereisten te vertalen naar functionele specificaties.

Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced IT/IS project manager to lead our Motion IEC Low-Voltage Motors division's global strategic initiatives, with particular focus on coordinating SAP Ariba SCC activities across the Motion Business Area. This role combines project management expertise with digital transformation responsibility, requiring the ability to self-organize and manage complex projects of varying sizes while acting as either an IS project manager or a combined Business/IS role. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end SAP Ariba solution implementations, drive cross-functional project teams, ensure seamless ERP integration, and continuously improve procurement and supply chain capabilities through training, best practice sharing, and alignment with ABB's business objectives, while working closely with the global MOIM IS PMO and P&F leadership.

The role is contributing to the Motion / IEC LV Motors globally.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Driving IT/IS projects and contributing to continuous improvement of MOIM IS project management maturity.
• Leading full lifecycle SAP Ariba SCC implementations, including planning, blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-deployment support.
• Coordinating ARIBA training programs and best practice sharing to ensure continuous improvement and optimal utilization of SAP Ariba solutions.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders, external implementation partners, vendors, and SAP support teams to translate procurement requirements into functional specifications and deliver successful implementations.

Qualifications for the role

• 5-8 years of experience as an IS Project Manager role within a global matrix organization
• Experience with SAP ARIBA SCC solution, as well as implementation, experience with Operative Procurement and Quality processes is a plus.
• Proven experience leading complex and distributed projects.
• Knowledge of MM module in SAP ERPs is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
• Problem-solving ability, resourceful in identifying challenges and proposing tailored solutions to meet client expectations.
• Self-organized, self-structured with solid strategic understanding.
• Customer-centric approach, drive to understand the clients’ business and ability to prioritize their needs to deliver maximum value.
• Fluent English language skills.
