Job summary

Greener Power Solutions seeks an IoT Software Engineer (Reliability & Data) to apply data-driven analysis to real-world battery and EMS reliability challenges.

You’ll work at the intersection of software, IoT and data, building Python solutions, analysing telemetry, and collaborating with Product, Service and Engineering teams to continuously improve system performance.

This role offers ownership, growth, and a chance to shape a rapidly growing energy tech platform.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, IoT engineering, reliability engineering, data science or a comparable technical role.
• Strong Python software engineering skills.
• Experience with APIs, databases, and cloud-based systems.
• Comfortable analysing data to understand system behaviour and solve technical problems.
• Experience with IoT systems, telemetry, or connected devices.
• Minimum HBO level (equivalent to Bachelor's degree).

Responsibilities

• Investigate operational issues and reliability challenges across our battery fleet using EMS and fleet data.
• Design and implement improvements within the EMS platform and develop Python code as part of the EMS codebase.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Service and Engineering teams; contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices.
• Improve understanding of system behaviour through telemetry, monitoring, and analysis tools; work with external technology partners.
• Help drive long-term development of data-driven product intelligence capabilities across Greener.
