Job summary

NDA in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to design, develop, and maintain native apps using Swift and SwiftUI. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging mobile experiences for millions of users.

The role emphasizes performance tuning, automated testing (unit and snapshot tests), API integration, and participating in architecture decisions. A hybrid schedule with 3 on-site days and start ASAP is offered.

Qualifications

• Monitor application health, investigate incidents, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve complex bugs
• Profile and optimize performance to improve app responsiveness and reliability
• Implement and maintain automated testing strategies, including unit and snapshot testing
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decisions across the mobile platform
• Maintain high standards of code quality, test coverage, and engineering best practices
• Support A/B testing and experimentation initiatives to inform product decisions with data
• Mentor and onboard team members and foster continuous learning and collaboration
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions while balancing customer impact, scalability, and engineering excellence
• Participate in technical interviews and recruitment activities

• At least 6 years of professional experience developing native iOS applications
• Strong expertise in Swift and SwiftUI
• Deep understanding of iOS frameworks, architecture patterns, and mobile development best practices
• Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs and backend services
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and software design
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests, including unit and snapshot tests
• Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation platforms, and release management processes
• Experience monitoring and supporting applications in production environments
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of full-stack engineering concepts and backend systems
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced collaborative environment
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
