Job summary

Peaks, a fast-growing Dutch fintech, seeks an iOS developer in Amsterdam to craft high-quality apps that empower users to manage their investments.

You'll collaborate with backend engineers, implement features in Swift using UIKit and SwiftUI, optimize performance, and contribute to a scalable codebase within a flat, international team at a central Amsterdam office.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of engineering experience with a product mindset.
• Solid understanding of architectures, design principles and engineering best practices.
• Specialist in Swift with expertise in both UIKit and SwiftUI, and comfortable with at least one other programming language such as Kotlin, TypeScript, or Python.
• Result-driven professional who can deliver while working with technology.
• Good understanding of business processes and ability to own tasks from design to production.
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams such as design and customer care.
• Lifelong learner willing to explore and share new ideas.
• Live or plan to live in The Netherlands.

As an iOS developer, you’ll craft high-quality apps that help users take control of their financial future. You’ll play a key role in shaping the mobile experience, implementing new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring smooth integrations with backend systems. You’ll contribute to a robust codebase with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and engineering best practices.

What you will be doing
