Job summary

L’Oréal seeks a 6-month Business Development Internship in Hoofddorp, NL. You’ll work under the Benelux HQ to drive category activation, data analytics, and business development initiatives across multiple divisions.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally, own parts of projects, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced beauty business. You are a final-year student fluent in English and Dutch or French, with a strong analytical mindset and a drive to translate data into business opportunities.

A Day in the Life

Reporting To a Business Development Manager At Our Benelux HQ In Hoofddorp (just Outside Amsterdam), You Will Join Our Team For a 6-month, Full-time Internship Starting In February. During The Recruitment Process, We Will Carefully Match You With The Right Internship For Your Profile

• Category Management: Partner with retailers to optimize beauty categories in-store and online, analyzing shelf layouts, shopper behavior and assortments, to make shopping our brands seamless and impactful.
• Business Development & Data Analytics: Turn data into a competitive advantage. Track revenue, monitor customer development, and build automated reporting tools to guide commercial decisions.
• Business Analysis: Shape our divisional business strategies. Analyze sales and market data to identify growth opportunities and prepare key performance presentations for senior management.

We Are Looking For

You are a final-year student fluent in English and either Dutch or French (non-thesis) who demonstrates:

• Strategic & Analytical Minds: You love working with numbers, spreadsheets do not scare you, and you enjoy translating raw data into business opportunities.
• Revenue Growth Management: A strong eye for tracking commercial KPIs and driving performance.
• Category Activation Management: Drive for optimizing retail touchpoints and shopper journeys.
