Job summary

West 8, a renowned international design studio, is offering an internship at our Rotterdam Studio. You will gain hands-on experience in landscape architecture and urban design, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on active projects and contributing to drawings, sketches, models, and proposals.

We seek students enrolled in a university, with permission to work in the Netherlands, and fluent in English or Dutch.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a school or university (Netherlands or abroad).
• Valid Netherlands work/residence permit where necessary.
• Proficient in English or Dutch (spoken and written).
• Available for at least 6 months, preferably up to a year.

Responsibilities

• Support a dynamic, multidisciplinary team on ongoing projects.
• Communicate ideas through drawings, sketches, physical and 3D models.
• Assist with project development and design proposals.
• Contribute to Rotterdam Studio activities and deliverables.

Requirements

• You are enrolled in a school or university, either within the Netherlands or abroad.
• Where necessary, you have a valid working/residence permit for the Netherlands.
• You are proficient in speaking and writing in either English or Dutch.
• You are available for a period of at least 6 months, preferably up to a year.

Our ideal candidate is:

• Eager to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team and wants to push boundaries.
• Able to communicate ideas fluently through drawings, sketches, physical and 3D models.
• Excellent in their use of oral and written communication in both English and Dutch.

This is a position for our Rotterdam Studio, which employs a wide range of candidates from varied and multidisciplinary backgrounds.
